About
Appalachian Road Show is a visionary acoustic ensemble that performs new-generation interpretations of traditional Americana, bluegrass and folk songs as well as innovative original music with a common thread: roots in the Appalachian Mountains. The group includes Grammy-nominated banjoist Barry Abernathy, Grammy-winning fiddler Jim VanCleve, Grammy winner and David Grisman Quintet founding member Todd Phillips on bass, vocalist and mandolinist Darrell Web, and guitarist Zeb Snyder, all united in a musical mission to illuminate the history, challenges and rewards of life in Appalachia and celebrate the spirit of the region's people.
